Beyond Bedroom Furniture |
18 Nov |
Most people spend an average of half their lives in their bedroom, if not asleep. With so much time spent in your bedroom, it is worth making it as inviting and homely as possible. Start by simply rearranging your bedroom furniture and notice the dramatic improvement. You will be amazed at how shifting a few pieces of furniture can transform the entire atmosphere in your bedroom.
Rearranging your existing bedroom furniture will dramatically improve the ambience in your bedroom, but it won’t necessarily improve your quality of sleep. With half your life spent in your bedroom, on your back, it is worth investing in one of the many good quality standard mattresses available. A quality mattress will ensure you awake refreshed and well-rested.
Quality mattresses make for quality sleep, while designer beds make for stylish and inviting bedrooms. With well-placed furniture, your bedroom will be transformed into a sanctuary where you can relax and replenish. Considering the amount of time you spend in your bedroom, it is worth taking the time and trouble required to make it truly inviting.
Once you have selected suitable items of furniture for your private sanctuary – your little piece of paradise – you can accentuate the space with a few feature pieces. If your bedroom gets good light, add some greenery. Your local nursery will be able to advise you on suitable houseplants for your space.
Select your favourite prints of loved ones to be framed and mounted on your wall. When it comes to your bedroom, make the space personal. Make it pleasing to your eye. That way, your slumber place becomes your sanctuary, as well.
