Choosing the right guest bed |
28 Oct |
We all cannot live in a home that offers enough bedrooms to cater for the unexpected, or even planned extra guests and having one or more guest beds usually offers the best solution. We need a guest bed be multifunctional and offer a sleeping solution but be easily storable or small enough during the day so as to not restrict normal living. An example would be a day bed or chair bed which acts as seating in the day but easily converts at night for sleeping.
Hideaway beds are really useful as they can convert from a single bed to a double, or two singles, popular here for its flexibility and space saving characteristics. The bed that is beneath has two sets of legs that spring down when lifted. With this you can have two singles of the same height, or they can be pushed together to form a large double bed. Other guest beds include folding beds, and sofa beds, sometimes referred to as day beds they serve a useful dual purpose.
