Kyoto New York Futon

The New York futon from Kyoto is new to us and is already one of our best sellers in the sofa bed arena. It has lovely wooden arched arms that give it its good looks. The wood is Hevea wood which is in the maple family but commonly known as the rubber tree – an environmentally sustainable material. When the sap of the tree has run its course, instead of destroying the tree as used to be done, it is now cut down and fashioned into attractive and long lasting hard wood furniture with very attractive grain. This mattress comes in the compact double size and three different colours of chocolate, duck egg and natural and it is supported by strong wooden slats.
